The Binance APP has different download methods across platforms: on Android, download the official APK installer directly (around 80MB); on iOS, you need to switch to a US Apple ID and search for it in the App Store; on Windows and macOS, standalone desktop clients are provided (around 150MB). This page consolidates the download entry points, installation steps, and common issues for each platform — just pick the card below that matches your device.

Android APK Download and Installation

1. Confirm Device Environment

Android 7.0 and above can run the official Binance APP. The latest version (v2.95+) requires Android 7.0 / 2GB RAM / 200MB of free storage. Essentially every Android device shipped since 2018 meets these requirements.

2. Obtain the APK File

Tap the "Android APK Download" button above to enter the Binance official download page. The file name is typically Binance-X.X.X.apk and the size is around 80MB. After the download completes, we recommend using a file manager to verify the file size is complete — if it is only a few MB, the download was interrupted and needs to be retried.

3. Allow Installation from Unknown Sources

When installing a third-party APK for the first time, Android will prompt: "For security reasons, your phone is not allowed to install apps from unknown sources." Tap "Settings" → find the browser you used for the download (Chrome / the system browser / UC, etc.) → toggle on "Allow apps from this source." This permission is scoped to a single app, and granting it does not affect the security posture of other apps after Binance is installed.

4. Tap to Install

Go back to the file manager and tap the APK. The system will display the list of permissions the Binance APP is requesting. The genuine Binance APP only requests these permissions: network access, storage read/write, camera (for QR scanning), and notifications. If the installer pops up requesting sensitive permissions such as SMS reading or contact access, your installer has very likely been tampered with — cancel immediately and re-download from the official site.

5. Differences on Huawei / HarmonyOS

Since Huawei devices cannot use Google Play services, there are a few specific things to watch out for when installing the Binance APP:

  • Some Google-push-related features are unavailable on HarmonyOS, but core features such as market data, trading, and withdrawals work normally
  • On first launch, an "unsigned" warning may pop up — just tap "Install anyway"
  • If the system prompts "app security check failed," go to "Settings → System & updates → Developer options → USB debugging," restart, and retry the installation

Apple iOS Installation Guide

1. Why iOS Cannot Install Directly

The App Store tied to a Chinese mainland Apple ID does not list the Binance APP, so you must switch to an Apple ID from a region where Binance is listed (most commonly the US, followed by Hong Kong). This restriction stems from App Store regional listing policies, not from any issue with Binance itself.

2. Create a US Apple ID

Open https://appleid.apple.com/account and select "Create Your Apple ID." For country/region, choose United States. For the address field, you can use any US address (search for "US random address generator" to obtain one). During registration, use an email address that has not previously been used to register an Apple ID. A Chinese mainland mobile number can be used for the phone field (changing the +1 prefix to +86 is not required — in practice, +86 numbers can also receive the verification code, and this has been tested to work).

3. Switch App Store Account

On your iPhone, open the App Store, tap your avatar in the top-right corner → scroll to the bottom and tap "Sign Out" → only sign out of Media & Purchases; do not sign out of iCloud. After signing out, open the App Store again and sign in with the US Apple ID you just created. The system will prompt "You must review this account before using iTunes" — follow the prompts to complete the review: select "None" as the payment method, and fill in a US billing address consistent with the one used at registration.

4. Search and Download

In the search bar at the top of the switched App Store, type "Binance." The first result is typically "Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto," with developer shown as "Binance." Tap "Get" to begin the download; the file size is around 200MB. Once the download completes, the icon appears on your home screen and you can open it normally.

5. Switch Back to Your Original Apple ID After Use

Once the Binance APP is installed, you can open the App Store again → sign out of the US account → sign back in with your original Apple ID. Because iCloud was never signed out, your photos, contacts, notes, and other data are completely unaffected. Normal use of the Binance APP does not depend on the App Store account — you have simply downloaded the app; running it does not require signing in to Apple ID every time.

6. TestFlight Installation (Alternative)

If creating or switching to a US Apple ID proves difficult, there is another route: install the Binance beta version via TestFlight. The Binance official site opens TestFlight slots from time to time. Once registered, tap the TestFlight invitation link → install TestFlight → accept the testing invitation → download the Binance APP. Via this path you install a beta build (functionally nearly identical to the production version), and after 90 days you need to re-accept the invitation in order to continue using it.

Windows / macOS Desktop Clients

System Requirements

  • Windows: Windows 10 / 11, 64-bit, with 500MB of free storage
  • macOS: macOS 10.15 (Catalina) or later, with native support for Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3)
  • Memory: 8GB or more recommended (having multiple charts open consumes noticeable memory)

How to Download

Tap the "Visit Binance Official Site" button above to open the homepage → scroll to the bottom → "Downloads" → "Desktop Client" → pick the platform you need. The Windows installer is an .exe file around 150MB; the macOS installer is a .dmg file around 130MB.

Installation Notes

  • Windows: Some security software may misreport "unknown publisher" — after confirming the download came from the official site, allow it to run
  • macOS: On first launch, Gatekeeper will block it — go to "System Preferences → Security & Privacy → General" and click "Open Anyway"
  • The desktop client is interoperable with the APP and web version: account, assets, and orders stay fully in sync

Binance Web3 Wallet Download

Difference Between the Wallet and the Exchange APP

The Binance APP (the exchange app) is a centralized exchange client, in which assets are custodied by Binance. The Binance Web3 Wallet is a decentralized wallet, in which the private key/mnemonic phrase is held by the user, and Binance's servers have no access to it. Both can be entered from within the Binance APP, but they are fundamentally different in nature.

How to Get It

  • Mobile: Inside the already-installed Binance APP → bottom "Wallets" tab → switch to "Web3 Wallet" → follow prompts to create or import
  • Browser: From the Binance official site → Wallets → Web3 Wallet → install the browser extension (works with Chrome / Edge / Firefox)
  • Be sure to write the mnemonic phrase down offline by hand. Do not screenshot it, do not store it in the cloud, do not send it via email — these 12 words are the sole proof of wallet ownership.

Common Download and Installation Questions

Q: The APK download fails halfway through — what should I do? A: Usually a network issue. Switch to 4G data or Wi-Fi and retry. If it still fails, try a different browser (Chrome or Edge is recommended) for the download.

Q: After installing on Android, the icon shows "Not installed" — why? A: The APK file is incomplete or failed signature verification. Delete the file and re-download from the official site. Do not obtain the APK from cloud storage, group chat shares, or third-party app markets.

Q: After switching to a US Apple ID on iPhone, I still cannot find Binance — why? A: Check that the account shown at the top of the App Store really did switch (tap the avatar and check the name). Sometimes a switch fails and the original account remains signed in.

Q: After I install the Binance APP, will my existing WeChat Pay and Alipay still work? A: Completely unaffected. The Binance APP is a standalone application, fully isolated from other apps on your phone.

Q: What is the difference between the desktop client and the web version? A: Features are essentially identical. The desktop client launches faster, pushes market data more promptly, and renders charts more smoothly, making it suitable for long market-watching sessions. The advantage of the web version is that it does not consume system resources and is more convenient for quick ad-hoc viewing.

Q: How large is the Binance APP? Why do some third-party sites claim you can install it in just a few MB? A: The genuine Android APK is around 80MB, iOS around 200MB, and desktop clients 130-150MB. Any link claiming "Binance APP in just a few MB" is a scam.
